About us

A hub for people who put live television on air.

infotape brings gallery directors, camera operators, sound and lighting specialists together in one place. We help UK studios integrate their equipment, sharpen their camera work and build processes that hold up when the red light comes on.

Why we exist

Too many studios inherit a patchwork of equipment, undocumented routing and workarounds that live in one engineer's head. News programmes, interviews and live shows then depend on luck.

We built infotape to turn that experience into a shared standard: documented signal paths, rehearsed camera moves, measured acoustics and lighting plots that can be rebuilt by anyone on the team.

What we stand for

Reliability first

A beautiful shot is worthless if the signal drops. We design every set-up so that it fails gracefully and recovers fast.

Craft over gadgets

We are kit-agnostic. We choose the simplest tools that give your presenters and operators the result they need.

Shared know-how

Our programmes leave documentation, presets and habits behind, so your team stays confident long after we leave.

The people you will work with

Working broadcast professionals who teach and advise from real studio experience.
